I recently upgraded to QB desktop 2021 on a new laptop running Windows 11.
Now every time I open QB I receive a message telling me I am missing a PDF component. I am able the file and print my PST & GST returns but they don’t show up in “previously filed”, however I am able to find them in the journal entries.
I have downloaded and ran the QB Tool Hub and did all the suggestions but nothing has resolved the issue. Please help me as I fear what else this may be affecting that I haven’t discovered yet!
Thank you very much. I’ll discuss your recommendations with my consumer when we get connected tomorrow.
The inconsistency in filing records due to the PDF component issue in QuickBooks Desktop 2021 on your Windows 11 laptop persists, despite using the QB Tool Hub and following suggestions. To resolve this, try reinstalling the PDF component by uninstalling and then reinstalling QuickBooks PDF Converter. Ensure both QuickBooks and Windows 11 are updated. Check for conflicting applications that may impact QuickBooks functionality. If the issue persists, seeking assistance from QuickBooks support or consulting community forums may offer customized solutions for your situation.
Missing PDF component likely requires reinstalling or updating Adobe Reader. Check software compatibility with QuickBooks, then reinstall or update.
