If QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop crashes during startup, start by opening the software in No Company Open mode. If it opens, the issue may be with your company file. Try opening a sample company file to check. If successful, repair your original file using the Rebuild Data tool. Ensure QuickBooks and your computer’s operating system are updated to the latest version. Run the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool to fix any installation issues. If problems persist, temporarily disable your antivirus and try opening QuickBooks again.
I appreciate your quick response. I have attempted all of the solutions discussed in “Solutions for when QuickBooks has stopped working.” in addition to running the QuickBooks Tool Hub apps, but to no avail. Since I can establish a new Windows user account on the same computer and the file opens without any issues, I’m very certain that the issue is not with the software or the data file.
